This new skincare line being marketed to teens has a hashtag name – #MPWR, pronounced ’empower.’ It’s the first USDA Certified Organic skincare brand for teens, the company says.
But it’s not on the market yet – and won’t be, unless the company can raise nearly $25k during its Indiegogo campaign, which ends October 21st.

Maura Mandell founded the company because her son has life-threatening food and skin allergies, and she says she was shocked to learn that many skincare products contain ingredients known to be harmful, while still being labeled as natural or organic.

Mandell explained, “In a quest to create something I can feel good about for my own kids, #MPWR was derived from natural, botanical and organic sources. I’m so excited to have the ability to offer the cleanest, greenest products for young skin that delivers results without compromise.”

The products were in development for five years, and are designed to keep skin clean and hydrated, while controlling blemishes. The brand offers full transparency of its ingredients, with each product going through the rigorous testing process to be labeled ‘Certified Organic.’

The colorful green and black packaging is unisex and designed to command attention. Social media icons decorate the bottles and tubes, and memorable product names, such as “Zip, Zap, Gone!” are sure to be appealing.
